- Use: never use crocodile clamps to connect equipment to the battery. These connections are unsafe and can cause overheating, damaging your equipment or battery. Always use a fuse between the battery and trolling motor, and connect using thick battery cables with M8 tongue connectors and ANEN plug connectors for a secure connection.
- Cha: only charge with a lithium-ion charger that has a CC/CV charge profile (42V max 35A) or charge by your outboard in combination with the Range Extender.
- Wat: the battery is IP67 waterproof. However, do not let the battery sit in water. Secure it in place with fixation bands on a vibration-free surface to prevent sliding.
